The built-in camera looks for the sit. That’s the part we’ve been prototyping: recognizing simple, position-based behaviors.
Right behavior, treat
A small treat drops. If your dog doesn’t sit, Fido waits, resets, and tries again. Reward only — never a correction.

An early prototype and one very patient dog.
Today Fido is a bench prototype: a camera, a speaker, and an off-the-shelf treat feeder wired together to test whether the idea holds up. The clip shows a real test session, not a finished product.

Straight answers
Can I buy one?
Not yet. Fido is in development and nothing is for sale — no preorders, deposits, or reservations. This page exists to learn whether dog owners want it before we build more.
What behaviors is it meant to recognize?
The intended experience is: Fido speaks a command, a camera checks whether your dog did it, and a treat drops if so. We're starting with position-based behaviors like sit and down; the list isn't final.
How does it "train"?
Positive reinforcement only. A treat rewards the right behavior; if your dog doesn't do it, Fido simply waits, resets, and tries again. There is no correction, sound punishment, or anything aversive.
What does the early list get?
If you leave your email and tick the early-list box, you get 15% off the launch price and first access if Fido is released. There's no payment or reservation now, and you can unsubscribe anytime. Pricing isn't set yet, so the discount applies to whatever the launch price becomes.
What will it cost?
Undecided. The prices in the survey are test assumptions so we can learn what feels reasonable — they're not a price list, and we haven't decided whether any subscription will exist.
Does it replace training my dog?
No. It's meant for short practice between your own sessions — repetition of things your dog is already learning. Your relationship and a good trainer still matter most.
Is it safe to leave running when nobody's home?
We haven't tested unsupervised use, and we won't claim it's safe for that until we have. Treat it as a supervised tool until then. Treat portions and session limits are part of what we'd design with vets and trainers.
